După absolvire, am mers în Coreea de Sud ca studentă cu bursă guvernamentală coreeană și am studiat în coreeană timp de un an. În septembrie 2021 mi-am început masterul la Universitatea Hannam, Daejeon. În această iarnă am lucrat ca voluntar la Dream Program. Este un program de la fundația Pyeongchang Legacy, unde tinerii din întreaga lume pot practica sporturile de iarnă și pot descoperi cultura coreeană. Am avut grijă de participanții străini și am făcut traduceri și interpretariat ori de câte ori au avut nevoie de mine.”
My name is Nani Xenia. I am a 2020 alumni of the faculty of Letters. After graduation I went to South Korea as a Korean Government Scholarship student and learned Korean for a year. In September 2021 I started my Master’s at Hannam University, Daejeon. This winter I worked as a volunteer at Dream Program. It is a program from Pyeongchang Legacy foundation, where young people from all over the world can experience winter sports and Korean culture. I was taking care of foreign participants and helped them by interpreting whenever they needed me to.
Dream program 2022. This was a blast. That was my 2nd Dream Program, but this time I came back as a DFA ( Dream Program Assistant). In the span of two weeks I experienced so much. Learned how to play samulnori( Korean traditional instruments), had 2 teams under my assistance, shared tears of joy and a lot of laughs with them. That was a fruitful experience for me. Not only could I increase my level of English and Korean, but I also did 3 interviews and one presentation at the Pyeongchang Peace Forum!! PYEONGCHANG, SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!!
„드림프로그램 2022. 너무 재미있는 시간이었습니다. 내 2번째 프로그램이었는데 이번엔 새롭게 DFA로 돌아왔습니다. 2주동안 너무 많은 것을 경험해간 것 같습니다. 처음으로 사물놀이를 배우고 1차 2차 때 각각 생활조 하나씩 맡았고 참가자들과 울고 웃었습니다. 저에게 너무 유익한 경험인 것 같습니다. 2주동안 내 영-한 실력이 좀 좋아진 것 뿐만 아니라 게다가 프로그램 때 인터뷰 3개부터 평창평화포럼에서 발표까지 다 해낼 수 있어서 정말 뿌듯합니다. 평창, 내년에도 봐요! ”
